Half Day Fish Creek Guided Trip (~4 hours/half day trip, 5.5 miles) Book this trip.
If you’re up for a longer and unique paddling experience, and want to get away from it all, this trip is for you. Paddle 5.5 miles, downstream, on the West Branch of Fish Creek (map it). This beautiful, undeveloped section of the creek winds through forests, fields, and marsh areas. Be prepared for stunning photo opportunities, and wildlife sightings along the way! The adventure starts at the Tug Hill Outfitters property, and ends at the Westdale fishing access site. You’ll begin with a short, .6 mile wooded hike to Tug Hill Outfitters private boat launch on Fish Creek, where the boats and gear will be waiting. We’ll take a short snack/stretch break about half way through the paddle. Trip times are approximate and will vary depending on water level and paddling speeds. Boats, paddles, life jackets, dry bags, and safety whistles provided. Available on weekends only. Due to the hike at the start of this trip, we do not allow individuals to bring their own boats.
Cost: $100 per person (group of 1 or 2); $80 per person (groups of 3 to 6) plus equipment tax.

Gifford Lake Guided Trip (1.5 – 2 hours, 3.2 miles) Book this trip.
A 3.2 mile out and back paddle on the West Branch of Fish Creek to Gifford Lake (1.6 miles each way). The trip begins at the Westdale Fishing access site (map it). From there, you’ll paddle with your guide up the winding creek, to a smaller, slow moving, wetland channel to the lake. This paddle offers great opportunities for photos and wildlife sightings. In the summer, the smaller channel is abloom with water lilies. Gifford Lake is a small, remote, undeveloped lake aside from a single house. After paddling around and exploring the lake, we’ll turn around and paddle downstream back to the trip starting point. Trip times are approximate and will vary depending on water level and paddling speeds. Boats, paddles, life jackets, dry bag, and safety whistle provided. Available on weeknights and weekends. For this trip, individuals have the option to bring their own boats

Deer Creek to Lake Ontario Guided Trip (3 – 4 hours, 4.8 miles) Book this trip.
Experience two very different worlds on this beautiful and unique 4.8 mile out and back paddle on Deer Creek (map it) through the Deer Creek Marsh Wildlife Management Area. With your guide, you’ll paddle on a stream through scenic wetlands (2.4 miles each way), to a dock located at the foot of a sand dune that divides the marsh area from an expansive, rocky, Lake Ontario beach. We’ll get out at the dock and take a very short walk along a boardwalk to the beach, where you can spend some time walking, playing, snacking, and relaxing at the beach. This paddle offers great opportunities for photos and wildlife sightings. Trip times are approximate and will vary depending on water level and paddling speeds. This trip may be ideal for people who have difficulty getting in and out of boats due to limited joint flexibility/mobility, because there are kayak specific boat launches that allow you to get in and out of your boat on land. Boats, paddles, life jackets, dry bag, and safety whistle provided. Available on weeknights and weekends.
